EYFS
Our Early Years Foundation Stage provides a nurturing and purposeful introduction to learning. Through a carefully balanced approach combining exploration, wellbeing, communication, and structured routines, children begin building the confidence, curiosity, and independence that underpin the Epsom journey.
Grounded in the British EYFS framework and enriched by our values and Tokyo context, the environment is designed to ensure children feel secure, supported, and excited to learn each day.
Our Focus
Independence
Children are encouraged to make choices, develop self confidence, and build positive routines from an early age.

Strong emphasis is placed on speaking, listening, storytelling, and early language development across daily learning experiences.
Social & Emotional Development
Through pastoral support and guided interaction, children develop emotional awareness, resilience, and positive relationships.

Enquiry based learning encourages curiosity, creativity, and active engagement through purposeful play and discovery.
Wellbeing & Movement
Daily routines, outdoor learning, movement, and wellbeing activities support healthy development and positive learning habits.

Optional before and after school provision also supports families with a calm and well supervised extension of the school day.
