How To Apply
Become One of Our Founding Students
Join the very first cohort of students at Epsom College Tokyo and be part of a unique educational journey from the very beginning. As founding students, children will help shape the culture, traditions, and spirit of a new Epsom school community built upon over 170 years of British educational heritage.
Founding families will benefit from a highly personalised experience, with close individual support, strong home school partnerships, and access to selected leadership, enrichment, and community building opportunities designed especially for the school’s early years.
As a founding school community, we take time to understand each child’s readiness, potential, and aspirations, ensuring every student begins their Epsom journey with confidence, belonging, and purpose.

Upcoming Info Session
Saturday, 6 June 2026
Join us for an exclusive introduction to Epsom College Tokyo and gain early insight into the vision, values, and educational journey behind our founding Prep School.
This session offers families the opportunity to meet the leadership team, understand the Epsom pathway, and learn how our British preparatory approach is designed to support long term academic and personal development.
Our Admissions Team will also be available to guide families through the admissions process and answer individual questions.
Application
Submitting an application allows our Admissions Team to begin getting to know your child and family. Once your application is received, we will guide you through each stage of the admissions journey.
Families will typically be asked to provide:
- Recent school reports
- Identification documents
- Any relevant supporting information
Entrance Test
The Entrance Test is designed to identify the student’s academic attainment and potential. There are 3 essential parts:
- Part 1: Computerised baseline test assesses maths, learning skills, and literacy.
- Part 2: The English level test assesses the candidate’s proficiency in the language.
- Part 3: The Essay Writing section allows us to see the candidate’s expression.
Once the online profile has been created, the Admissions Office will be in touch on steps to book a slot for the Entrance Test.
Interviews
Selected families may be invited to meet with members of the school leadership or admissions team. This conversation allows us to better understand each child’s personality, interests, and educational needs, while also giving families the opportunity to learn more about the school community.
Letter of Offer
Successful applicants will receive a formal offer of placement from the school following completion of the admissions review process.
Acceptance of Offer
To confirm acceptance of an offer, families will be guided through the enrolment process, including submission of required documentation and completion of registration procedures.
Payments
Fee information and payment guidance will be provided alongside the offer documentation. Our Admissions Team remains available to support families throughout the process.
Orientation Day
Before the start of term, new families will be invited to orientation sessions designed to help students settle confidently into school life. These sessions provide an opportunity to meet staff, become familiar with routines and expectations, and begin building connections within the Epsom community.
For founding families, this marks the beginning of a shared journey as part of the first Epsom College Tokyo cohort.
